The Jefferson County Tourism department approached Smarketing with an exciting opportunity to recreate their tourism brochure that is distributed to welcome centers and rest stops across the state of Tennessee.

Having re-branded* earlier in the year, Visit Jefferson County, also known as the Lakeside of the Smokies, needed a new, updated brochure that reflected their fresh look and feel.

This piece is unique in it’s a full 12-page booklet highlighting the entire county and including viable information such as annual events, local restaurants, and area accommodations. An added challenge was designing the brochure to fit the various distribution methods. For welcome centers and rest stops, the brochure needed to be able to fit in a standard trifold brochure slot; however, for in office use, such as vacation kit requests, it needed to be able to be sent flat in booklet form. We were able to create a piece that fit those needs by creating a visually appealing back cover that could double as the front cover when folded to fit the trifold slot.
